Nau mai, haere mai
Te Puna Kōhungahunga Mana Motuhake, is a Māori-medium centre that provides a learning environment for tamariki to learn and embrace tikanga and te reo Māori. We offer a dynamic learning environment based on Te Whāriki (NZ Early Education Curriculum) that is child-focussed, offering learning-through-play opportunities to enable confident and competent tamariki.
Te Puna Kōhungahunga Mana Motuhake offers culturally relevant, high-quality, puna reo early childhood education and care that honours and celebrates the rich heritage and traditions of Aotearoa. We are a centre for tangata whenua who want their tamariki to have an early childhood education that embraces te ao māori, and for pākehā whānau who want their tamariki to embrace māori culture and language as part of their upbringing.
Whāngaia te manu o te ngahere ki te miro nāna te ngahere.
Whangaia te tamaiti ki te mātauranga, nōna te ao!
Feed the bird of the forest with berry, the forest is theirs.
Feed the child with knowledge, the world is theirs!
